In 2017 the UK charity Heritage Crafts published The Red List of Endangered Crafts. The list ranks traditional crafts by the likelihood they will survive into the next generation. As part of an ongoing project I’ve been photographing crafts people on the list throughout the UK. Scissor making is currently ranked as ‘Critically Endangered’ on The Red List.
